Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine chicken, garlic, jalapenos, olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Massage marinade into the chicken until well-coated.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
  3. Heat your grill to medium-high (400°F) or add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and cook each side for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Brush reserved marinade on chicken in the last few minutes of cooking.
  6. Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
