  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Season beef with salt and pepper; sear until browned on all sides (about 4-5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent (3-4 minutes).
  3. Sprinkle flour over the onion mixture; cook for 1 minute. Gradually stir in beef broth to prevent lumps.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce and thyme; return seared beef to the pot and cover.
  5. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 2-3 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
  6. Shred beef in the gravy and serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
