- 2 large yellow onions, chopped
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 oz bacon lardons
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large Dutch oven over medium heat, cook bacon lardons until crispy. Remove and set aside.
