  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup Korean BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine or brown rice (approx. 370g)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers and carrots)
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 4 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, grated ginger, and Korean BBQ sauce until smooth.
  2. Place chicken in a zip-top bag with marinade; seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat; cook marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until charred and fully cooked.
  4. In the same pan, sauté mixed vegetables for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  5. Assemble bowls by placing rice at the bottom, topping with sliced chicken, sautéed vegetables, and sesame seeds.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
