  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water to seal.
  3. Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, pressing firmly to remove air and seal tightly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the wontons in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
