  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, melt the butter and whisk in brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon; fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. For the swirl filling, mix extra brown sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. Spread half of the batter in the prepared dish, sprinkle the swirl mixture on top, then dollop with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown; cool slightly before drizzling with glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with milk.
