- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup spinach (fresh or thawed frozen)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix warm water and instant yeast; let it froth for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in flour, olive oil, and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Meanwhile, prepare the spinach dip by mixing softened cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and spinach until creamy but thick.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough into a rectangle and cut into strips. Place a spoonful of spinach dip on one end of each strip, fold over, and twist into festive shapes.
