- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Boil salted water and cook pasta shells until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain fat and mix in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- In a bowl, combine beef, ricotta, half of the mozzarella, and parsley.
- Stuff each shell with the mixture and place in the baking dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over shells and top with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
