- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup edible cookie dough mix
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2–4 tbsp milk or cream (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- While cooling, beat together butter and cookie dough mix until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Once brownies are completely cool, cut them into squares. Spread cookie dough buttercream on one brownie square and top with another.
