Description

Blackberry Basil Ricotta Pizza is a delightful culinary adventure, combining the creamy richness of ricotta with the sweet-tart burst of blackberries and the aromatic freshness of basil.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup ripe blackberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread ricotta cheese evenly over it, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Scatter fresh blackberries on top of the ricotta layer and season generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the assembled pizza.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
