  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Red M&M's or candies (for noses)
  • Mini pretzels (for antlers)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually mix this into the butter mixture until just combined.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop rounded balls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  7. Once cooled slightly, press red candies into each cookie for noses and stick pretzels into the sides for antlers.
