Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  2. Place the steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal or cover, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight for extra flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade (discard excess) and grill for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
