  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet; cook for approximately 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet. To the same skillet, add chicken broth, sour cream, lemon juice, smoked paprika, parsley, and thyme. Stir until combined.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each breast, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
