  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped spinach, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add spinach and cook until wilted (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Shape the meat mixture into balls (1-2 inches in diameter).
  4. Sear the meatballs in the skillet until golden brown on all sides (about 8 minutes).
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir while scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
  6. Gently place meatballs into the skillet with sauce, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
