Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Chop onion and mince garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add onions and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Stir in chopped cabbage, crushed tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Cook until cabbage wilts (about 5-7 minutes).
- Layer half of the cabbage mixture in a greased baking dish. Top with half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layering with remaining mixture and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil for the last 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
