  • 1 lb lean ground chicken
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a plate.
  3. Pour half of the marinara sauce into the slow cooker.
  4. Gently place the meatballs in the slow cooker and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until cooked through.
