  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  5. Roast for about 13-15 minutes per pound, basting every hour until golden brown. Check doneness with a meat thermometer (165°F/75°C).
