Instructions

  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined; small lumps are fine.
  5. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish or cast-iron skillet and pour in the batter.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares.
