Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 dumpling wrappers
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage (Napa or green)
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup water (for steaming)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by combining cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Take one dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold into a half-moon shape, pinching tightly to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add potstickers flat side down and cook until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Carefully add water to the skillet and cover immediately to steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Serve warm with soy sauce mixed with chili oil or vinegar for dipping.
