- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup water (for steaming)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by combining cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Take one dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold into a half-moon shape, pinching tightly to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add potstickers flat side down and cook until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
- Carefully add water to the skillet and cover immediately to steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve warm with soy sauce mixed with chili oil or vinegar for dipping.
