  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4×4 inch squares.
  4. Place spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture in the center of each square and top with sliced strawberries.
  5. Fold corners of each square towards the center and seal edges gently.
  6. Mix egg and milk for the wash; brush over pastries.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
