  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in cream cheese until evenly distributed. Stir in salted caramel sauce.
  6. Drop dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  7. Allow cooling slightly before drizzling more caramel on top.
