  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour and water to form a rough dough. Knead on a floured surface until smooth (about 5 minutes).
  2. In another bowl, mix ground meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten each into circles (about 3 inches wide). Place one tablespoon of filling in the center.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add dumplings in batches, cooking until golden brown on one side (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Carefully add 1/4 cup water to the skillet and cover immediately. Steam for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
