  • 2 large yellow onions, sliced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
