  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 package (12 oz) round dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
  • ½ cup water (for steaming)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, sliced green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.
  2. Take one dumpling wrapper and place about one tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold over, and pinch tightly to seal.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil once hot enough. Ensure it coats the bottom evenly.
  4. Place potstickers in the pan without overcrowding and fry until golden brown on one side (about 3-4 minutes), then flip carefully.
  5. Pour in half a cup of water (carefully) and cover immediately with a lid. Steam until cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  6. Remove from heat and let them rest briefly before serving with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
