  • 1 (16 oz) package frozen pierogies (potato and cheese)
  • 12 oz smoked kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brown the kielbasa in a skillet over medium heat until golden; add chopped onions until translucent.
  2. Layer frozen pierogies in the bottom of the crockpot. Spread the kielbasa and onion mixture evenly on top.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the layers, then dollop sour cream and sprinkle shredded cheeses on top.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until heated through and cheese is melted.
  5. Garnish with dried parsley before serving.
