  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 3 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken in olive oil until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  4. Add marinara sauce to the skillet; stir to coat and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the chicken mixture, then sprinkle half of both cheeses.
  6. Repeat layering with the remaining chicken mixture and cheeses, finishing with panko breadcrumbs drizzled with olive oil.
