Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix the pitted cherries with sugar and lemon juice; let sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the crumble into the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread cherry filling evenly over it and top with remaining crumble.
