  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, and half of the mozzarella until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked rigatoni until evenly coated.
  5. Layer half of the pasta mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and half of the Parmesan, then add the rest of the pasta on top.
  6. Finish with remaining Parmesan cheese and drizzle olive oil over it.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
