- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, and half of the mozzarella until combined.
- Gently fold in the cooked rigatoni until evenly coated.
- Layer half of the pasta mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and half of the Parmesan, then add the rest of the pasta on top.
- Finish with remaining Parmesan cheese and drizzle olive oil over it.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
