Ingredients

  • 4 cups stale bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets (blanched)
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut stale bread into one-inch cubes and allow to dry if needed.
  3. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes; drain and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and half the Parmesan.
  5. Gently fold in the bread cubes, diced ham, and blanched broccoli until coated.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
