  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Egg wash (optional: 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp water)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Gradually add ice water one tablespoon at a time until the dough forms a ball. Avoid overmixing.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
