  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 2 tbsp rosewater
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup chopped pistachios (for topping)

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and cardamom.
  3. In another bowl, combine yogurt, melted butter, eggs, milk, rosewater, lemon zest, and juice until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently mix in chopped pistachios and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
