- 9 oz fresh or frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the dish. Layer with ravioli, half the ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with marinara sauce and Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before garnishing with basil and serving.
