  • 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 4 green onions, finely sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup roasted unsalted peanuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Add cubed tofu to the pan; cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy on all sides.
  4. Stir in chopped peanuts and green onions; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in basil, cilantro, and lime juice.
  6. Serve immediately with a drizzle of soy sauce or sesame oil.
